Utah is in YEAR 4 of state health system reform and federal reform (the ACA) is now 1 year old. Yet, Utah’s health system continues to face significant and urgent challenges. Costs are increasing at unsustainable rates. Record numbers of Utahns are without health coverage. The system is growing more and more unfair to individuals, businesses, and providers.

Implementation of state and federal health system reform measures that promote affordable access to quality care for all people residing in Utah is needed now.
Both the Utah Legislature and congressional leaders are working to address the implementation challenges of health system reform. Public involvement is essential to ensure health systems meet the needs of all Utahns.

U-SHARE — Utahns for Sustainable HeAlth REform — is a coalition of businesses, individuals, and community and provider organizations united to support the implementation of comprehensive state and federal health reform measures that promote affordable access to quality care for all people residing in Utah.  As a coalition we believe that the implementation of health reform measures should include a balance between the private and public sector that reflect the goals of:
